How did you write?
It was a day and a half to eat in Seattle.
When we started talking about the serious eats the book almost two years ago, the task seemed daunting. But between the collective knowledge of Serious Eats publishers Overlord Ed Levine comprehensive travel eat, our extensive network of contributors across the country, our food columnist and blogger friends in every corner of America and our seriousness Eats community members, we had a lot to start Intel.
So, if you go, armed with thousands of recommendations from hundreds of sources? You can hit the road, of course.
Most travelers are limited by the number of meals in a day. You can hit up to three, maybe four or five, if you get snacks there, but that’s it, right?
Our day began to look more like 8 restaurants. 12. 15. We are confident our case is the only day in Salt Lake City, where I have eaten in 22 institutions in 16 hours. (I do not recommend that.) Business Days starting to look like a wake up call 4:00 am, an early morning flight from New York to Denver (“But Ed, you really have to stop before returning to Colorado Chapter sandwich. .. “), a 10-hour swing through Denver, Boulder and Sedalia, Co., a fast drive to the airport and a flight to San Francisco before the day was done.
